ABOUT US

March Moto Madness began by getting out in the spring as early as possible, packin’ up the bikes and goin’ ridin’ and campin’ with friends for a few days in the mountains of east Tennessee.

WHO WE ARE!

Now MMM’s been an annual event in Tellico Plains since 2006 and grown to include simultaneous World Wide events in Japan, Spain, Taiwan, UK, Ireland, Australia and other worldwide sites. 2019 had 750+ attendees at the Mother rally in TN. 2020 is our 15th MMM and we hope that it become the biggest and best yet.

In 2012 the GS Giants, an adventure / dual sport motorcycle club, joined us and helped with support & growth. The Giants have been integral in helping spread the word especially in the World Wide event. And a special thanks to Jim Bean who has been integral in growing the World Wide Event. Motorcycle forums such as ADVrider has also been a big factor in growth as well.

We’ve primarily been dual sport oriented but the areas great diversity of roads has broadened our range of riders. Great twisty asphalt (Cherohala Skyway, the Dragon), groomed gravel (the Dirt Dragon) or gnarly single track (trail 81 or 82). A lot of diversity for the whole range of Dual Sport / ADV Bike. There are also single track and dirt bike trails on site to enjoy.

Food has always been a big part of our rides thanks to Don Stover and his culinary prowess as well as a host of volunteers that help make sure everybody eats. Meals included at MMM are Breakfast Fri, Sat & Sun and Dinner Fri & Sat nights.

The Mother MMM rally is located at 801 Steer Creek Rd, Tellico Plains, TN and there’s plenty of room for trucks / trailers, tents and mucho Moto Madness . We’re sure a lot of new friendships will be kindled around the campfire this year and stoked again in the years to come. And now it’s happening!

WHAT WE DO!

We like to ride, camp & have a good time with our friends. Along with the riding, we’ve tried to add a little friendly competition into the mix for some more fun and bragging rights.

•Slow Race, Moto Limbo and Friday Night Barrell Races; Lot’s of fun for everyone. Nothing extreme. Come participate or come spectate. Always a crowd favorite. Watch where you stand for the barrel racing. There will be mud!
•Skills course – Try you hand at tight turns, figure 8’s, slalom. Nothing too extreme. Balance and brains are your friends here.
•Trails course– For those with a need for the extreme. Water, mud, logs, balance. You’ll have a little of everything that you could expect from a true extreme adventure. Can you clear the course?
•Hill Climb – Not for the faint of heart. Take home the title of King of the Hill until next.
